Voice-Over Demo Production

The voice-over industry is ever-changing.  Everyone is getting in the game. This means that a top quality VO Demo is more important than ever. It needs to be a strong, crisp, bold snapshot of who you are as a Voice Talent. Whether you are with an agent, on your own, or both, your demo is the first impression anyone has of you. It can help you get signed with an agent and book (more) work both inside and outside of the agency ecosystem.

Tom Hambleton has been recording, editing, mixing and coaching voice-over demos for over 20 years. He is truly a professional listener with superior skills in vocal recording, voice editing, and commercial mixing.

I know that every time I suggest to one of our talent to use Undertone’s VO Demo Services, I will get an excellent, stand-out product that makes them (and us) sound their best!
— Laura MM Johnson, Owner NUTS Talent Agency

Since 2016, Tom has been co-hosting workshops (along with Beth Chaplin) in the art of voice-over in which he’s not only applied his deep knowledge of the craft, but gained tremendous additional insight into what makes for a successful, bookable read. He knows how to coach you to make you sound your best. From his experience in selecting the best takes, to his tasteful music choices, to his strategic ordering of spots, and on to his expertise in the final mix polish and mastering, he’s got what it takes to make a competitive, world-class demo!

Plus, he can enlist the expertise of other veteran Voice Actors and Coaches if you’d like additional coaching and guidance through this entire process. Please see the bios and links to our coaching colleagues below.

I’ve worked with Tom on a number of voice over projects over the years including putting together voice over demos. I deeply appreciate Tom’s insightful direction in bringing out authenticity in the read. He helps make connections that bring deeper meaning to the script and his supportive approach enables fuller exploration of possibility. If you want a great demo - Tom’s your man.
— Rebecca Surmont
My experience with the team at Undertone along with Beth Chaplin was amazing. They patiently guided me through my first demo from script choices, to my all-important recording session, to the music selection all the way down to the strategic placement of each spot in the final demo order.  They do an incredible job of straddling the line between boosting confidence and constructively offering alternate ways to approach a read. I appreciated every minute of the demo process and highly recommend them.
